CONSTRUCTION DETOUR IN EFFECT UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2008
The following directions are modified to accommodate the year-long
construction on Winter Avenue:
Danville Area Soccer Complex is on East Winter
Avenue, between North Vermilion Street and Bowman Avenue, in the
northeast region of Danville, IL.
From the north or south: Take Route 1, which is
North Vermilion Street, into Danville, turn east onto Liberty Lane at
the stoplight at Vermilion and Liberty Lane (toward McDonalds
Restaurant). Proceed on Liberty Lane to Bowman Avenue and turn right
(south) there. The next right turn is Winter Ave. Winter is open to
local traffic only, but permits access to the complex. The complex is
about one-quarter mile to the west on Winter Avenue, on the south side
of the road.
From the east or west: Take I-74 to Danville,
exit at Bowman Avenue and proceed north on Bowman for about 4 miles.
Turn left (west) onto Winter Avenue. Winter is open to local traffic
only, but permits access to the complex. The complex is on the south
side of the road about one-quarter mile west.
